Build student/artists' confidence and increase their personal brand by showcasing their best work in a portfolio website. Learn how to choose their best and strongest work.
Using my website [www.theestateovcreation](http://www.theestateovcreation/) as an example, I will showcase creative animation, design, and XR work that I have made. I will outline my approach to design standards and how I approach clients to gain their trust in creating work for them using my experience.
I will give advice on Design Practices and workflows to gain a client's confidence to pitch for a job. I will briefly talk about mood boards and style boards, setting up session 2.

Learn how to have an idea, create a mood board, tailor the idea and mood board to the client, and shape it with the creative input of the artist/student. I will use three different mood boards I have created to show different approaches.
I will outline and expand upon the main course text, show examples of mood boards/style decks, and how to pitch your idea to the client. I will explain how to make them look good, have a cohesive style, and outline the processes involved.

Here the students show their design thinking, mood board, and pitching documents and ideas, explaining their thought processes in their artwork/development of the idea.
I give full feedback and a critique of their work and ideas, showing where it works and where it can be improved.

Here we will look at and critique their proposed showreel for their client pitch created from their mood board. The students will showcase their final presentation showreel. After which, I will review and give feedback.
Then there will be a final Q&A session where participants can delve deeper into their practice, ask for advice, and showcase what they are working on to get constructive feedback and an industry professional opinion.
