Our school is committed to support students who wish to develop their ability to a level appropriate for a career in the new media industry.
Our curriculum is designed to develop in the student the skill sets needed within the 21st century new media arts industry. In an ever changing landscape, students need a wide remit of skills that encapsulate more than just a technical bias.
Our courses combines a high level study of technical production constructs alongside essential creative pursuits such as conceptualisation, artist aesthetic, collaboration strategies and developing business opportunities.

3D and audiovisual artist with over 22 years of experience in computer graphics and 20 years of teaching experience.
Worked in the production of the computer game Killer Tank, Pilot TV, on the first Russian animation projects in the Classic Studio, on the largest film projects in the German studios Trixter Film and Scanline CA as a technical director for pipeline, Character Animation, Cloth Simulation TD, RnD for VFX.
- After 2010 - creation of an automated infographic visualization system for Kommersant TV, cooperation with the largest Russian companies - SilaSveta, Stereotaktik, Invisible, Raduga Design - on VideoMapping projects.
- In 2013, he created his own generative design studio Licht.Pfad. Cooperation with WhiteVoid. Creation of AV Performances in partnership with Dasha Rush, Robert Lippok

Media artist, musician, and VJ
He has collaborated with international performance groups such as Das Gegenteil, TO Druzhba, the Moscow jazz avant-garde (Improv Day events), and TON Workshop. He was the first video artist at Signal Music Residency.
He is part of the Burning Man Russia community and has participated in festivals such as Ogonёk, Holodok, Improfest, Potok, Bessonitsa, and LES25.
Founder of the experimental techno-jazz improvisational project Psychosomatika and a member of the world's largest laptop orchestra (75 people, Museum of Moscow, 2018).
Maksim has performed at venues like Mutabor, WIP, KC Dom, Cube Moscow, RED EYES Moscow, NIIDAR, the Darwin Museum, TekhnikaBezOpasnosti, and worked on interactive installations for Slava Polunin's global show (Manezh, 2022).
DJ, guitarist, performer
For the past three years, he has performed as a DJ with live guitar. He was a resident at the LFD (Light Fleur Dance) party and performed regularly at WARPP club. He has played at the Russian Museum, the creative village Art Kovcheg, the Systo festival, and various venues in St. Petersburg and Goa.
He is one of the founders of the creative community Plemya. For two years, they organized music and performance events in St. Petersburg and Goa.
As a fire show performer, he has appeared at Systo, Odyssey festival, and at parties like Soundcraft, Plemya, Tripfoundation, and others in Goa.
As an improvisational theater performer, he participated in Shamanic Party by Veda Ram and Sirena Mirra at Shunya, Goa.
Vlad has read his poetry at Shunya, Goa.
He played guitar in the ambient music project Outhanasia.
Founder, songwriter, and guitarist of the shamanic rock band MoonStones Band. They have performed at festivals like Systo, Trimurti, Chillout Planet, Bely Shum, Why Not, and Skazka.
He has been involved in organizing festivals, parties, and creative spaces and settlements, including Systo, Space of Joy, Trimurti, Odyssey, Art Kovcheg, and Soundcraft.
Motion designer, Media artist, VJ
She began her career as a designer and illustrator, transitioning to motion design in 2016. She has worked on various projects, including collaborations with Soyuzmultfilm, the country's oldest and most prominent animation studio, and contributed as a 3D generalist on numerous creative ventures.
Since 2019, she has focused on generative graphics and interactive events, creating complex installations for festivals such as AXIOMA, Ogonek and Signal. Additionally, she has worked with promo groups like Solar System, Dopamin, and PLY, providing visuals for a wide range of events—from classical music concerts to trance parties.
Her work has also been showcased in clubs such as Community, Gazgolder, and Blanc, where she delivered immersive visual performances.
Phelan Kane is a Berlin and London based music producer, engineer, artist, developer and educator. For over twenty years he has been active in both the music industry and the contemporary music education sector, with a focus on electronic music and alternative bands. His specialism is sound design and production techniques such as synthesis and sampling, alongside audio engineering, mixing, mastering, audio processing and plug-in development.

In 2001 Kane worked closely with pioneering synth Mute recording artist, Fad Gadget a.k.a. Frank Tovey, playing an instrumental part in Fad Gadget’s support on Depeche Mode’s 2001 ‘Exciter’ tour and as part of the Fad Gadget band, performing at Euro Rock in Benelux and Wembley Arena.
Scholarly Activities
For over twenty years he has been involved with delivering and designing contemporary popular music education at HE level. For two years he was the Head of Higher Education at London based Tech Music School (now BIMM London) and was instrumental in project managing the design, structure and eventual delivery of seven undergraduate Bachelor Honours degrees and two post graduate degrees in subjects such as Music Production, Songwriting, Music Business and Popular Music Performance. He has been a lecturer at BIMM London, SSR London, the Dept. of Music & Media at the University of Surrey, Tileyard Education and The London College of Music at The University of West London and he currently lectures for Deutsche Pop on their BA (Hons) Music Technology Specialist and at Catayst Berlin on their BA (Hons) Creatiev Audio Production. He delivers HE content specialising in DAW, synthesis, sampling, audio processing, sonic manipulation and electronic music production. Radiohead members Ed O'Brien and bandmate Phil Selway had music technology lessons with Phelan at Tech Music School in London in 2001.
In 2006 he completed a Master’s degree in Audio Technology from the London College of Music. He became one of the first wave of Ableton Certified Trainers in 2008 and in 2016 Kane completed an MSc in Sound & Music Computing at the world leading Center for Digital Music at Queen Mary, University of London. He was an active member of the UK’s Music Producers Guild, holds a PG Cert in Learning & Teaching, is an Affiliate of the Institute for Learning, a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and from 2017 - 2019 he was Chairman of the London Committee for the British Section of the Audio Engineering Society. In 2021 he became one of the first wave of Max Certified Trainers in the world and the only one outside the US. He owns a very (un)healthy collection of samples, plugs and DAW toys and possesses an obsession with synthesis and owns many vintage analogue synthesizers such as modular systems, Moogs, ARPs and Oberheims.
